After the Holidays

Last friday we came home from our long week vacation in France. Before we left, i prepared our things and placed them in plastic boxes. I think i packed about 6 plastic boxes with our things: clothes, books, my hubby's workpapers, electronics and toiletries. And then there's this big yellow clap-box full of groceries and food. I thought we could save some money by buying food and groceries here in Germany because everything in France is expensive.

So to make the story short, we came back last friday night and i was so stressed and overwhelmed because instead of having the same 6 boxes and 1 clap-box, we have 12 boxes! Our apartment is located on the second floor, so you could just imagine, how we lifted up all of our things to our apartment and then back down again for the rest of our things! I was really exhausted! Just when i thought we're finished, i looked around the house and saw all the things laying on the floor, as in we couldn't get past all the things we brought in from the car. So we carried some of the things to the kitchen and to our bedroom. Para bang mini-junkyard, pero plastic boxes at plastic bags! I felt like parang binuhusan ako ng malamig na tubig. So the next thing i did was, i sat down in the dining room and listed all the things i have do tomorrow and went to bed. I really don't have the strength to do anything that night. So the next day, ito tuloy ang naging itsura ko:

I thought I'm still having a nightmare after seeing all of our things in the house. Just take a look: (pinaganda ko naman ng konti para hindi naman nakakahiya masyado hehehe...)

Hubby's paperwork and Laptop's. Also my reading stuffs in the living room...

There's also more things laying in the entrance hall, groceries and wine bottles on the kitchen floor and kitchen counter, and in our bedroom, there's still plastic boxes with our clothes in it. Oh, i forgot to take them out! I hope they're not stinking yet... hahaha just kidding! They are all washed and ironed. Ako pa! *flips hair* Then i have to fold the comforter pa back in the plastic... hay kakaloka talaga!

So i guess, i should better start now or else, it would take days bago ko matapos ang lahat. So till next time!
